May 07, (THEWILL) — The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has launched a new direct payment option on its Intelligent Company Registration Portal (iCRP), enabling users to pay for selected services through the Revenue Optimisation and Assurance Project (ReVOps).
The Commission disclosed the development in a statement posted on its official X handle on Wednesday, describing the initiative as part of efforts to simplify and improve access to its online services.
Under the new arrangement, customers can now make payments directly on the CAC portal without relying solely on the previous Remita payment gateway, which supported debit card payments, bank transfers, and branch transactions.
According to the Commission, the direct payment feature currently covers a range of post-incorporation and business-related services. These include filing of Annual Returns, Change of Business Address, Change of Name, Change of Objects, and Cessation of Business.
Other services now integrated into the payment system include updates to Proprietor or Partner details, requests for Certified True Copies, status reports, and Letters of Good Standing.
“The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) wishes to notify its esteemed customers that payments for the following filings can now be conveniently made directly on our portal via ReVOps on the Intelligent Company Registration Portal (iCRP)”, the statement read.
The initiative aligns with the Federal Government’s broader drive to digitise public finance management and strengthen revenue collection through technology-driven systems.
Launched last year, the Revenue Optimisation and Assurance Project (REV-OP) was introduced to improve transparency, eliminate revenue leakages, and enhance operational efficiency across government agencies.
