November 04, (THEWILL) — The Civil Defence, Corrections, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFiB) has announced that its recruitment portal will officially close on Friday, November 7, 2025, and has urged all shortlisted applicants to immediately log in and confirm their status, ahead of the next stage.
In a statement signed on Tuesday by the Secretary to the Board, Maj-Gen AM Jibril (Rtd.), the Board said shortlisted applicants are expected to take part in a compulsory online test scheduled to run from Wednesday, November 12 to Tuesday, November 18, 2025.
The CDCFiB emphasised that the Computer-Based Test (CBT) exercise will be conducted exclusively online, noting that all previously approved physical CBT centres across the country have been discontinued in favour of a fully digital process.
It explained that applicants who had earlier selected physical CBT locations must now revisit the portal to choose a convenient online date and time for the test. According to the Board, the link for the test will be made available on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
Applicants have been advised to ensure they have a stable internet connection, an appropriate device, and to follow examination instructions strictly to avoid disqualification.
“The Board wishes to inform the general public that it remains committed to a smooth and transparent recruitment process”, the statement read.
The CDCFiB oversees the recruitment of personnel into key national security agencies, including the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nigerian Correctional Service, Federal Fire Service, and the Nigeria Immigration Service.
