SAN FRANCISCO, January 23, (THEWILL) – A public memorial service was held for Celine Dion’s late husband Rene Angelil at the Notre-Dame Basilica in Montreal, Canada.
The event was attended by Celine who had her support system, her 14-year-old son, Rene Charles by her side. Her mother, Therese, Rene’s other children and a host of other family members, friends and supporters came out to pay tribute to the late manager who died after a prolonged battle with cancer.
Celine who was meant to stay for just 30 minutes ended up staying for hours by her husband’s casket, greeting fans and well-wishers.
