March 27, (THEWILL) – Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly keeping in touch with Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante’s representatives in the hopes of bringing the Frenchman back to Ligue 1.
However, the Blues are confident that they are nearing an agreement to extend the 31-year-old’s current deal, which is set to expire at the end of the season. Despite being free to speak with clubs across Europe over a possible free transfer due to the time remaining on his current contract, Kante is known to be happy in London and has always given Chelsea priority in negotiations.
While PSG is seeking to entice Kante, the English Premier League club remains optimistic about finalising a deal with the 2018 World Cup winner.
Meanwhile, Les Parisiens are prepared to part ways with Renato Sanches this summer, with several EPL clubs, including Aston Villa, Liverpool, Newcastle, Tottenham, and Wolves, monitoring the situation. AC Milan, who were former suitors, are also reportedly prepared to reignite their interest in the Portugal international.
