December 12, (THEWILL) – Femi Fani-Kayode has disclosed that his ex-wife, Precious Chikwendu, has access to their children but has refused to visit.
THEWILL writes that Fani-Kayode’s marriage to Precious ended in 2020 amid claims of domestic violence by the latter and the former’s counter-allegations of infidelity.
The duo hav3 been in a heated tussle for the custody of their four children who have been in Fani-Kayode’s care since their separation.
Chikwendu recently stated that the former minister prevented her from seeing her kids in the past year.
“The children are with him, I haven’t seen them since August 2nd, 2020. Yes, since August 2nd, 2020, I haven’t seen my children and I’ve been physically prevented from seeing them,” she had stated.
“I don’t know if my children are alright because they don’t take my calls. I don’t know the school he changed my sons to. I’m told they go to school. The last I filed a suit, they said the children are in school and they are okay.”
On Saturday night, Fani-Kayode took to his Instagram page to upload a video of their four children playing in the care of nannies.
He stated that Chikwendu has had access to the kids for over one year but willfully refused to visit them.
He wrote: “My handsome Princes with their nurses and nannies and other members of my household taken today.
“No bruises, no scars, no head wounds, no Covid 19, no nothing. Their mother has been given access to see them in the house for the last 1 year and 5 months but she has refused to do so.
“Despite that, they are happy and healthy. They have the very best of everything, they are surrounded by love, light, joy, prosperity, and peace.
“They get the very best of care from a set of highly trained and well-respected child care specialists and professionals.”
