December 30, (THEWILL) – Award-winning Nigerian author and feminism advocate, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, has bagged a chieftaincy title.
The writer was honoured in her hometown, Abba, with the title of Odeluwa 1 of Abba kingdom, (the writer of global acclaim) in Anambra State.
The title was conferred on her by His Royal Highness, Igwe E.A Ezeh, Eze Abah, on Friday, December 30, 2022.
She was honoured in recognition of her contribution to Abba community.
Video of the ceremony has since gone viral with the writer dancing and giving out crisp notes to some drummer.
