The EPL defending champions capitalised on Liverpool’s 1-0 loss to Leicester on Tuesday and Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Brighton earlier to increase their lead on Wednesday evening.

The Blue side of Manchester did enough to hold on to their 1-0 victory, which keeps them atop the Premier League table with the Bees in 14th place and nine points clear of relegation.
