November 09, (THEWILL) – Aubrey Drake Graham, aka Drake and Sheyaa Bin Abraham -Joseph, aka 21 Savage have both been sued by Condé Nast, the publisher of Vogue magazine, for allegedly using the Vogue name without permission to promote their new album, “Her Loss.”
Condé Nast filed a trademark-infringement lawsuit against Drake and 21 Savage on Monday, for their flippant disregard for Condé Nast’s rights and demanded that the artistes take down social media posts and public posts, and stop distribution of the counterfeit magazine they created around the album.
In a social media post after the cease and desist, Condé Nast received evidence that the magazines were still being distributed leading to widespread public confusion and erroneous press accounts.
Condé Nast is asking a judge to cease the duo from using the Vogue name immediately and demanded $4 million in damages
