Court  Adjourns Ruling On Suit Seeking To Stop PDP National Convention

October 28, (THEWILL) – An Appeal Court sitting in Port Harcourt has adjourned ruling till Friday, October 29, on an ex parte application seeking to stop the national convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Prince Uche Secondus, the suspended chairman of the party, through his counsel, Tayo Oyetibo, is asking the court to suspend the convention which is due to hold on October 30 and 31.

He is also asking the court to allow Secondus preside over the convention.

The three-man appeal panel led by Justice Haruna Simon Tsammani, after listening to the argument from the parties on Thursday, fixed the ruling for Friday,  October 29,  2021.
