SAN FRANCISCO, January 05, (THEWILL) – Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye, aka Rudeboy, has tested positive for COVID-19.
He announced this on Tuesday on his Instagram account, describing the ailment as “the worst sickness ever”.
Okoye of the famed, now defunct PSquare group, urged fans to adhere to COVID -19 protocols.
He wrote: ”ATTENTION!!! F*ck it !!! Covid is REAL !!! I know as a typical Nigerian or African, it is very hard to believe some will say, “experience is the best teacher oh well , the experience and the teacher has visited me and they’ve been dealing with me for more than 10 days now ;sh*t is not funny ….. worst sickness ever!!! …… y’all better be careful out there if you like believe me , if you like don’t believe me. You can as well wait for your own experience by playing ignorance. Goodluck, God help us all.”
THEWILL writes that Peter Okoye, the twin brother of Paul Okoye had also contracted the virus with his wife, Lola and daughter. However, they have since recovered.
