November 11, (THEWILL) – A 14-man team has been selected by the Nigerian National Cricket Federation to compete in the T20 World Cup, which will be held in Rwanda from November 28 to December 8.
On Friday, November 11, the squad was revealed as they prepared for the competition. Skipper Sylvester Okpe, Onwuzilike Chimezie Isaac Okpe, Onikoyi Ademola, Sesan Adedeji, Peter Aho, and Prosper Useni are notable names on the list.
The West Indies and the United States will host the 2024 Cricket World Cup, and Nigeria will be seeking to secure one of the two seats.
As one of the teams drawn in Group B, Nigeria will compete against rival West African nations, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Gambia, Tanzania, Mozambique, Cameroon, and Eswatini.
