May 23, (THEWILL) – David Adeleke, aka Davido, has charged the sum of $5 million for endorsement deal from a tech company, Billpoint.
The CEO and founder of the establishment, Linus Williams, disclosed the news on his Instagram page.
He stated that Davido’s team disclosed the cost of bringing the musician on board as an ambassador to his company.
Williams had initially prepared N150 million (approximately $205,000), for the singer.
However, by the time he got a feedback from Davido’s team, they demanded for something higher than he had in mind.

“Hello Mr Williams, thank you for your email.
“Davido’s endorsement fee is $5m for a full calendar year and is subject to review at the end of the endorsement period. Kindly let me know how you would like to proceed”, the response from Davido’s team stated.
