Jude 20, (THEWILL) – Obianuju Catharine Udeh, aka DJ Switch, has condemned the reaction of Ebunoluwa Damini, also known as Burna Boy to the shooting that took place at Obi Cubana’s club.
The DJ took to Twitter on Monday, to express her disappointment in the singer, over his reaction to the saga.
“Burna Boy, our youths have very little to look up to and emulate. As an African giant, you wield power and influence and so your attitude towards the incident is sad& condemnable. We must act better to deserve better. The police should investigate thoroughly (if they are capable)@burnaboy.”
Recall that the Lagos Police Commissioner’s special squad detained five policemen attached to Burna Boy for attempted murder, after they shot two clubbers, Lawrence Irebami, husband of the woman Burna Boy allegedly made advances at and another person identified as Tolu at Club Cubana in Lagos on June 8.
Police sources said the singer allegedly fled the country immediately after the incident to avoid questioning.
Addressing the matter on Twitter, the singer revealed that he was not shocked about the report linking him to the incident.
