May 23, (THEWILL) – American singer, Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, aka Doja Cat, has undergone a tonsil surgery. The singer went under the knife to remove abscess from her left tonsil.
She revealed that her tonsil got infected last week and she had to visit the hospital where she was informed that she needed a surgery.
A few days after the surgery, she revealed that that another routine surgery will take place this week but the recovery will take a bit of time because of the swelling.
She had to cancel her upcoming shows, tours and festival run so that she can recover from the surgery.
She revealed on Twitter that she trying to cut down her habit of smoking for a while and prayed not to crave for it anytime soon so as to recover fully.
