
August 27, (THEWILL) – Chief Superintendent of Police, Dolapo Badmos, has celebrated 21 years of active service in the Nigeria Police Force. Excited, Badmos, who started her journey in the force in August 2002, recounted how her journey began on social media. She narrated how diligence, hard work and persistence sustained her in the last 21 years.
According to her, the journey started at the Police Academy Wudil, Kano State, where she was met by fierce looking officers who shouted at her for stepping on a sentry when she got admitted to the college. She pledged to continue to do her best to protect the Nigerian Constitution and her laws as long as she remains in the service of her fatherland.
Badmos joined the Nigeria Police Force as an Assistant Superintendent of Police in 2002. She has served as Aide-de-Camp, Divisional Traffic Officer, Divisional Police Officer, Police Public Relations officer and now as the Provost of the Nigeria Police Force.
