March 14, (THEWILL)-  Doma United have been hit with hefty fines amounting to N2 million for violations committed during their Matchday 24 encounter against Enyimba on March 10.

According to the NPFL’s governing body, Doma United’s conduct throughout the match was deemed unacceptable and capable of bringing the league into disrepute. Consequently, the club have been slapped with a N1 million fine for this misconduct.

Furthermore, the club’s failure to ensure the proper conduct of its players and officials during the heated contest has resulted in an additional N1 million penalty.

The charges levelled against Doma United stem from a perceived breach of the NPFL24 Framework and Rules. Despite the gravity of the situation, the embattled club retains the right to appeal the disciplinary sanctions within 48 hours of receiving the official notice.
