SAN FRANCISCO, November 01, (THEWILL) – The Department of State Security (DSS), on Wednesday, presented former National Security Adviser (NSA), Sambo Dasuki, Sambo Dasuki, in court after a Federal High Court ordered them to produce him.
Dasuki, decked in a light blue attire with a cap to match, is expected to be a witness in the trial of a former Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mr. Olisa Metuh.
Metuh is being tried for his alleged involvement in the mismanagement of funds meant for the procurement of arms and ammunition for the Nigerian Military who were battling against Boko Haram insurgents.
However, Dasuki was yet to take a stand which is dependent on the decision of the court to rule for or against his motion as he sought for a stay of proceedings which is still pending before the Court of Appeal.
THEWILL recalls that Dasuki was arrested by men of the DSS for the mismagement of funds in a scandal that has been tagged as ‘Dasukigate’.
