BEVERLY HILLS, August 14, (THEWILL) – The Edo State House of Assembly has impeached its Speaker, Honourable Justin Okonoboh.
Okonoboh was impeached by lawmakers at the Assembly on Monday in Benin City, the state capital.
Kabiru Adjoto and Victor Edoro were immediately appointed as new speaker and deputy speaker respectively.
THEWILL recalls that Edoro was in May 2016 removed as the Speaker of the same house.
