April 02, (THEWILL) – Efe Omorogbe, the Chief Executive Officer of Now Musik, has been given the power of attorney, to manage the asset and legacy of late singer, Olanrewaju Fasasi, also known as Sound Sultan.
Speaking about the development, Omorogbe said, “The confidence reposed on us to handle the business and legacy of this exceptional entertainer, is a compliment of the highest order and we are determined to deliver on our expectations.”
The record label will be collaborating with Naija Ninja entertainment, to release the late singer’s ninth studio album titled Reality cheque.
The album is a creative collaboration with music producer, Idowu Ogunnade, also known as ID Cabasa. It was near completion before Sound Sultan’s unfortunate demise.
It contains six songs and it will be released in the early days of July under the Naija Ninja imprint.
Preparatory work is said to have commenced in Sound Sultan’s area of interests such as music, theatre, television, film, fashion, basketball and live events.
A Sound Sultan prize of Social Impact is also being instituted.
