Eid-El-Maulud: FG Declares Friday Public Holiday

BEVERLY HILLS, November 29, (THEWILL) – The Federal Government has declared Friday, 1st December, as a Public Holiday to mark the Islamic Eid-El-Maulud Celebration.

Minister of Interior, Lt Gen. (Rtd) Abdulrahman Dambazau, who made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government, enjoined all Muslim faithful and Nigerians to use the Eid to pray for peace, progress and unity of the nation.

According to a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Abubakar Magaji, the Minister further urged all Nigerians to support President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration towards building the nation.

He wished Nigerians a happy Eid-El-Maulud Celebration.
