June 09, (THEWILL) – Damilola Adeparusi, an Ekiti State-based chef, has begun a cooking marathon that will last for 120 hours, surpassing that of chef Hilda Effiong, aka Hilda Baci.
Hilda had completed a cook-a-thon monitored by Guinness World Records in 100 hours a few weeks ago.
Adeparusi became a cynosure in a viral video after she claimed to have completed 15 hours of the 120 hours earmarked for the cooking.
Her cook-a-thon is taking place in Oye Local Government Area in Ekiti State, and Adeparusi hopes to get recognised in the Guinness Book of World Records.
