
March 05, (THEWILL) – Marilyn Okowa-Daramola, daughter of Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, has begged supporters of the Labour Party (LP) to vote for her in the forthcoming election taking place on Saturday.
In a video which surfaced online, the lawyer turned politician seeking an election into the Delta State House of Assembly, Ika North East Constituency of Delta State, under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), gathered youths of the Labour Party to seek their support.
Speaking in Pidgin English, Okowa-Daramola reminded them that the election is taking place on Saturday, she begged for their votes while promising to work towards their progress if elected.
“I know say many people no dey happy, make una support me.
“Election naa next week Saturday, I beg, make una support me. I dey plead with you.
“Labour Party, papa, mama and pikin,” she stated.
This development is coming because youths across the nation have been canvassing for support for the Labour Party.
The party won some constituencies in the National Assembly election in Delta State, which took place last Saturday.
