
February 03, (THEWILL) – Emeka Oparah has assumed a new position as the Vice President, Corporate Communications of telecommunication company, Airtel Africa.
Oparah will be managing the image of Airtel Africa in its 14 African markets, including Nigeria, as the spokesperson of the company. He has since moved to Dubai, United Arab Emirate to resume duty.
The leading expert in crisis communication, leadership transition and rebranding has over 25 years’ experience in the communication industry spanning, Advertising, Public Relation, Events, Sponsorship and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Airtel Nigeria.
Before moving to Airtel, he had a brief stint as a journalist, before joining Prof Pat Utomi’s company. From there, he moved to Cadbury and then to Airtel Nigeria and now Airtel Africa.
