July 30, (THEWILL) – The Emir of Daura, His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Faruk Umar Faruk, has married a 22-year-old lady named A’isha Yahuza Gona.
A’isha is the daughter of Alhaji Yahuza Gona, a former local government chairman.
The Emir tied the knot in a lowkey ceremony at Safana Town, Daura, Katsina, after a brief courtship which lasted a week.
The bride has now assumed her new position in her husband’s house in Daura within his expanding harem.
The marriage is happening seven months after the Emir took a 20-year-old as wife, Aisha Iro Maikano.
