January 04, (THEWILL) – Erik Lamela’s rabona for Tottenham Hotspur in last season’s north London derby defeat by Arsenal has been included in FIFA’s Puskas Award’s three-goal shortlist.
Lamela, who signed for Sevilla in Spain this summer, put Tottenham ahead with an intelligent finish, but Arsenal came back to win the match 2-1.
In the 76th minute, Lamela was sent off for a second bookable offence.

The third goal nominated is Mehdi Taremi’s overhead kick for Porto against Chelsea in the Champions League last season.
The winner will be announced on January 17 at the FIFA Home of Football in Zurich during The Best FIFA Football Awards.
