BEVERLY HILLS, June 08, (THEWILL) – Beyonce was honoured with the Fashion Icon award at the 2016 CFDA Awards and her family came out to support her.
Always one to steal the show, Queen Bey arrived the venue garbed out in a sparkly pinstriped Givenchy suit and a wide-brimmed hat while accessorizing with Lorraine Schwartz jewellery.
Husband, Jay Z was as dapper and cool as always in a black tuxedo with a white shirt underneath and black bow tie.
Blue Ivy also looked adorable in her black fringe frock and white jacket with a matching bow in her afro which she wore in a bun.
Receiving her award, Bey thanked her mother, grandmother and late uncle noting that her mum designed her wedding dress, her first CFDA Awards dress and lots more.
He thanked them for showing her that “having a presence is far more than the clothes you wear and your physical beauty”.
Proud mum, Tina Knowles and her husband, Richard Lawson were also at the event to show their support.
