Cynthia Morgan

SAN FRANCISCO, May 27, (THEWILL) – Nigerian dancehall queen, Cynthia Morgan, has been receiving virtual knocks after the artiste management contract she signed with Jude Okoye’s company surfaced online, puncturing her claim that she was cheated and treated badly by the management.

THEWILL had reported that Morgan, who now goes by the moniker Madrina, claimed that the agency stopped her royalties and blocked her from using her name as well as access to her social media accounts.

Jude however denied her claims, saying Morgan still owes him N40 million naira, and released a copy of their contract on Twitter as proof that the singer lied.

Radio anchor, Dotun Kayode, who was one of those that had earlier criticized Jude after Morgan made her claim on social media, apologized to the music producer.

Dotun wrote: “I have been in the Nigerian entertainment industry since 2004 and if there is anything the past couple of days have taught me, it is the importance of taking all sides of the story into consideration before forming an opinion (1).

“On the Cynthia Morgan story, I have taken notes from both Parties concerned & I can only say that I have been hasty in publicly forming an opinion (2).
