BEVERLY HILLS, January 24, (THEWILL) – Twenty- seven out of a total of 42 teams have qualified for the zonal finals of the FIFAe Club World Cup 2021 after weeks of intense qualification matches.
That is the pinnacle event of the competitive EA SPORTS FIFA for teams and the 2021 tournament will feature the best clubs from each of the six zones. The finals to get these zonal champions is scheduled to kick-off on Wednesday, February 24 and round up on Sunday, February 28.
For the second consecutive time, Complexity Gaming, the reigning FIFAe Club World Cup Champion, qualified for the World Cup. In all, 27 teams from Zones 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 have already secured their spot in the zone finals, while the field of participants will be finalised after the Zone 4 playoffs are completed on Thursday, January 28.
After that, the teams who qualified will be rewarded with a total prize pool of USD 105,000. All 42 teams that participated in the qualifying series will get the chance to compete for another USD 245,000 in prize money at the FIFAe Club World Cup 2021 in late February.
