October 27, (THEWILL) – Foot Locker, a New York footwear company, has joined the list of fashion brands cutting ties with Kanye West, after his antisemitic rants on social media.
The company revealed it would not be supporting any future Yeezy product and they have instructed their retail operators to pull any existing product from the shelves and digital sites.
West has faced more woes since his antisemitic utterance. He was dropped from the list of billionaires compiled by Forbes, after German sportswear company, Adidas, cut ties with him over his antisemitic post.
The rapper, whose deal with Adidas provided $1.5 billion of his net worth, had earlier boasted during a Drink Champs podcast that “I can say antisemitic… and Adidas cannot drop me.”
The German company later terminated its partnership with the rapper and stopped all payments to him and his companies.
His careless utterance has caused him a lot in the past few months, with other notable fashion brands ending their relationships and business deals with him.
