SAN FRANCISCO, June 14, (THEWILL) – The upper chamber of the National Assembly has passed a resolution requesting the Executive arm of government to forward to it as a bill, the report of the 2014 national conference.
The lawmakers reached this resolve on Wednesday after an extensive deliberation on the state of the Nigerian union, against the backdrop of the heightened tension in the body polity of Nigeria.
THEWILL recalls that President Muhammadu Buhari had in June 2016 ago said this of the 2014 Confab report, “That is why I haven’t even bothered to read it or ask for a briefing on it, and I want it to go into the so-called archives”.
