Aoril 25, (THEWILL)- Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle in a move aimed at enhancing efficiency and boosting key sectors in governance.
Secretary to the State Government, Tammy Wenike Danagogo, who announced this in a statement on Tuesday, said the reorganisation reflects Governor Fubara’s proactive approach to governance by ensuring that the right individuals are placed in key positions to advance the state’s development objectives.
Consequently, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Prof. Zacchaeus Adangor (SAN) has been redeployed to the Ministry of Special Duties within the Governor’s Office.
Similarly, Barr. Isaac Kamalu, formerly serving as Commissioner for Finance, has been moved to the Ministry of Employment Generation and Economic Empowerment.
The redeployments are with immediate effect, the statement added, while directing all parties to facilitate seamless transitions with immediate handovers to their respective Permanent Secretaries.
The Governor reaffirms his commitment to delivering impactful governance and fostering sustainable growth and prosperity to all Rivers people.
