BEVERLY HILLS, December 22, (THEWILL) – K.T. Oslin, the first female songwriter to win the CMA Award for Song of the Year, for her 1987 hit “80’s Ladies,” has died at 78.
The death of Oslin was confirmed by her journalist friend, Robert K. Oermann, who stated that the Grammy award-winning singer had been battling Parkinson’s disease and was diagnosed with Covid-19 last week.
