BEVERLY HILLS, March 09, (THEWILL) – A young Nigerian man, Jide Valentino Santa, sponsored through school by popular musician, Davido, has graduated with a first class.
Santa announced this on his Twitter handle on Tuesday.
He revealed that Davido helped him financially during the period he had no money for his education.
Santa graduated on Monday from Afe Babalola University, ABUAD with first class in Electrical Electronics Engineering, EEE.
He wrote: “University timeline, I left England because money no they Lagos, mentor sets up a gofundme for me.
“Davido dropped funds to support my fundraiser (thanks to twitter folk), resumed ABUAD and survived Nigerian education with first class EEE.
“Thank you so much Davido.”
Responding, Davido wrote on his Twitter page, “Crazy, happy for you”.
