November 23, (THEWILL) – An American actor, Jeff Johnson, is dead after shooting himself following an argument with his wife. He was aged 58.
According to the City Police Department and incident report, Jeff Johnson, a former reptile dealer popular for his role in the popular movie, “Tiger King” was in front of his wife when he shot himself after an argument with her in their garage on September 8.
The incident report stated that Jeff Johnson’s wife immediately called 911 and her husband still had a pulse when local authorities came to the scene. However, the deceased actor was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
According to police, the couple’s children were home at the time of the incident and the police stated that Johnson was not known to have had any mental illness.
