BEVERLY HILLS, December 03 (THEWILL) – Multi-award winning actress, Sandra Bullock has adopted her second child. The 3½-year-old girl, Laila had been in foster care in Louisiana.
Unveiling the little girl on the cover of PEOPLE’s latest issue, the proud mum gushed, “When I look at Laila, there’s no doubt in my mind that she was supposed to be here.” Sandra who also has a 5-year old son, Louis whom she adopted in 2010 added, I can tell you absolutely, the exact right children came to me at the exact right time.”
Opening up to People on the adoption process which had been kept a secret for so long, the actress who first fostered Laila, disclosed that the baby girl had brought “pink and glitter to a house mixed with Legos and Batmans.” I knew she was scared and all I wanted was for her to know Louis and I weren’t going anywhere”, she said.
“My family is blended and diverse, nutty, loving and understanding”. “That’s a family”, Bullock added.
