SAN FRANCISCO, May 09, (THEWILL) – Lekan Shonde, the husband who allegedly killed his wife, Ronke, a banker with one of Nigeria’s top banks, has been arrested by the police in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial hub, after he turned himself in Monday accompanied by his lawyer.
The incident, which has been trending on Social media, occurred last Thursday following an altercation in their home on Ronke’s alleged infidelity.
The couple had two kids.
Reports suggested that Lekan, a dockworker absconded when he realized she had been killed. He was declared wanted on Sunday by the Lagos Police Command.
