August 08, (THEWILL) – Mavin Records boss, Michael Ajereh, also known as Don Jazzy, has recounted his grass to grace story while talking about his driving force.
He disclosed during an interview with Zero Condition podcast that one of his driving force in life is the fact that he used to sit down with his mother to sell akara in Ajegunle.
The record label boss added that the experience shaped him and he always remembered it when he came across people.
He added that because of that experience, he sees himself in any person he meets, who is struggling and he is always moved to help them.
“I remember it like it was yesterday. I remember sitting down with my mother who used to fry akara.
“Sitting on the bench there in Ajegunle and watching any big man that passes by with Peugeot 504 or Mercedes 230, who comes to buy akara.
“I also remember the thought in my head, ‘I wish this man would just look at me and say, young boy just take this, I know that you need it’ or something like that”, he stated.
