May 22, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar, has narrated her ordeal after she visited a zoo in Lagos State.
The mother of one revealed that she took her younger siblings to have fun at Shodex Garden and when they noticed her presence, they inflated the fee from N2,500 To N7000.
She stressed that she often visited the place just to cool off with her younger ones, so she wasn’t a stranger at the place.
According to her, the entry fee is N2,500, but they insisted on collecting N7,000 from her because they assumed she came for a photo shoot.
Even after revealing that she only came to unwind, the attendant still insisted she must pay N7,000 before she can have access to the facility.
She was advised to turn back if she wasn’t ready to pay the stipulated amount.
The disgruntled actress had to make a video where she lamented about the ill-treatment.
Responding to her allegations, management of Shodex Garden apologised for the ill-treatment. They alleged that it happened as a result of mis-communication and promised to make it up to the actress by taking her on a tour of their facility the next time she visits the place.
