September 03, (THEWILL) – Popular Swedish pop group, ABBA, has picked November 5 as the release date for their first album in 40 years. They added that they will do a “greatest hits” tour as digital characters.
The group’s last album, “The Visitors,” was released in 1981.
The group, which comprises Agnetha Fältskog, 71, Björn Ulvaeus, 76, Benny Andersson, 74, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, 75, will be announcing their comeback with a revolutionary concert.
Speaking in a press conference live-streamed from the top of the Orbit sculpture at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London, band members Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson disclosed that both projects would be called ABBA Voyage.
Two new tracks, “I Still Have Faith In You” and “Don’t Shut Me Down” were played publicly for the first time in the event.
