June 29, (THEWILL) – Actress cum model, Monalisa Stephen, has revealed that she is a juvenile diabetic patient.
The plus sized model made this known in a video post on Instagram.
She revealed that people often ask her why she can’t hit the gym and work at losing weight because she is too fat.
She added that everyone has a battle they are fighting and made it known that she is a juvenile diabetic and she has been taking care of her health for quite a while now.
Underneath the video, she wrote “Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind always.
“I have been taking care of my health since I was 10. Trust me, you don’t know what I have been through.”
This revelation is coming a few weeks after her management admitted that she was battling some low moments, which fans insist was depression.
She had gotten her fans worried about her mental wellbeing after making a post where she talked about “betrayal and quitting.”
She also revealed sometime ago that she has been a victim of bullying all her life even from secondary school.
