November 17, (THEWILL) – Nottingham Forest forward Taiwo Awoniyi, has been forced to return to his club after picking up a groin injury while on international duty with Nigeria.

The 26-year-old striker, started against Lesotho in the 1-1 World Cup qualifying draw, played in Uyo on Thursday, but was replaced by Nice forward Terem Moffi in the 59th minute.
