May 19, (THEWILL) – Late broadcaster cum politician, Gerald Springer, also known as Jerry Springer, has gone viral after a clip of him reading his will surfaced online.
The late broadcaster had died in April and was buried in a small private ceremony.
However, a video of him reading his will surfaced online. In the clip, he gave a large portion of his assets to the two black children he had out of wedlock.
TheWill gathered that the clip is from a virtual play he featured in before his death.
The clip was taken from a 2020 virtual play, ‘Blood Money’ where he made a cameo.
The virtual play was featured in ‘Reframed 2020: A Festival of New Plays’ on Social Justice presented by Tulane University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree.
In the clip, Jerry Springer addressed five people including two black children he supposedly had outside wedlock.
According to him, his wife Joan kept him away from the children he had outside wedlock but did not prevent him from providing for them.
He left almost everything he had, the rest of his estate, his properties in Mississippi, Georgia, and South Carolina, his bank accounts, Investment portfolios, and his liquid and intangible assets to the two children.
