December 21, (THEWILL) – Justin Bieber has advised his fans not to buy the H&M collection released with his face printed across several articles of clothing.
The Canadian pop star took to Instagram to denounce the collection, stating that H&M moved forward without his approval.
“I didn’t approve any of the merch collection that they put up at H&M,” he wrote in a now-expired Instagram story.
“All without my permission and approval. SMH I wouldn’t buy it if I were you.”
He added a second post: “The H&M merch they made of me is trash and I didn’t approve it, don’t buy it.”
In a statement to CBC News, H&M denied any wrongdoing: “As with all other licensed products and partnerships, H&M followed proper approval procedures.”
