December 15, (THEWILL) – Harry Kane has turned to artificial intelligence (AI) to help his family settle into their new life in Munich, Germany. The 30-year-old striker, who recently transferred from Tottenham Hotspur to Bayern Munich for a reported £100 million, has enlisted the help of Google’s AI tool Bard.
The England men’s football team captain moved to the Bundesliga champions in August, but his wife and children remained in England after the birth of their fourth child. With his family set to imminently join Kane in Munich, the footballer is utilising Bard to ease their transition.
This includes creating a customized bedtime story for his kids to get them excited about the move, as well as planning a sightseeing treasure hunt of Munich’s top attractions.
“I am excited to be teaming up with Google, especially on a product as impressive as Bard,” said Kane. “I recognise how the potential of AI can help me in all sorts of ways with my move to Germany and to get my kids settled into a new life in Munich.” He even jokingly added that Bard proposed some new goal celebrations, which fans may see if he scores in the Bundesliga.
The England striker has already made an impressive start to life in Germany, netting 22 times in 20 matches since his summer transfer. Off the pitch, Google’s conversational AI looks set to make his family’s adjustment to Munich equally smooth. The tech giant’s UK Chief, Eileen Mannion, said they were thrilled to collaborate with such a high-profile footballer to showcase Bard’s everyday helpfulness.
