March 23, (THEWILL) – The Association of Private Practicing Surveyors of Nigeria, a subgroup of Nigeria Institute of Surveyors, has honoured the chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Hon. Kehinde Oloyede Almaroof, with an award for good governance and dedication to service at the grassroots level.
The ceremony took place during the group’s annual General Meeting last week. The award was given because of the niche the chairman has carved for himself in the act of good governance and for his passion towards ensuring speedy development of his local government.
Oloyede has transformed Oshodi -Isolo Local Government since he assumed office in 2021. He hit the ground running with road rehabilitation, most especially good road network within the local government and other infrastructural development within Oshodi-Isolo and its environs.
Oshodi, which used to be a volatile area, has been enjoying peace since he took over the affairs of the local government. The elated awardee expressed profound gratitude to the group and assured them that their kind gesture would continue to spur him to do more.
