December 13, (THEWILL) – Renowned lawyer, Femi Falana has requested that the Deputy Commissioner of Police at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti should investigate and call Kemi Olunloyo in for questioning.
The lawyer asked the police to investigate the controversial woman who claims to be an investigative journalist over her reckless statement about the unfortunate incident that led to the death of Sylvester Oromoni.
He stated that Kemi Olunloyo wanted to tarnish the image of Sylvester on social media by claiming that the late student wanted to join the cult in the school and had agreed to be beaten.
He added that Kemi Olunloyo recorded her false statement and has been circulating it on social media in a wicked manner to divert attention from the investigation been conducted by the police.
Falana stressed that, apart from destroying the name of Sylvester Oromoni, she has exacerbated the tragedy of his parents and family without any justification.
He added that the statement is a fragment of her imagination though she was supposed to be helping the police but has decided to utter some allegations about the deceased.
Falana advised that if her reckless allegations cannot be substantiated, she should be charged for false accusations in a Magistrate court in Lagos State.
Recall that Kemi Olunloyo had stated earlier that the late Sylvester Oromoni had agreed to join the cult in school and agreed to be beaten and drank engine oil which unfortunately led to his death.
