April 04, (THEWILL) – Liverpool Manager, Jurgen Klopp, has denied any rumours of him leaving the club despite the team’s poor form in the current season.
The Reds’ have experienced an unexpected downturn, going from title contenders to a mid-table position in the Premier League standings. The team’s inconsistent performances have led to speculation about Klopp’s long-term future at Anfield.
However, the manager has dismissed such rumours, citing his experience at Borussia Dortmund, where he stepped back from the club but then turned things around while preparing to leave.
Despite the challenging season, Klopp remains focused on trying to turn things around, saying: “I tried a lot, and in moments it did work out, and in others not. The inconsistency is the most annoying part of it, to be honest. Still, we have to keep doing and trying.”
Klopp’s Liverpool will be looking to return to winning ways when they face another fumbling English Premier League side Chelsea at home in Stamford Bridge on Tuesday evening.
