April 08, (THEWILL) – Lazio secured an impressive 2-1 victory over Juventus at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday, extending their winning streak and tightening their grip on second place in Serie A.
With Milan, Inter and Atalanta all dropping points over the weekend, Lazio seized the opportunity to take all three points from their encounter with Juve, who now sit eight points off the top four.
Although Adrien Rabiot managed to cancel out Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s opening goal with a sloppy strike, Mattia Zaccagni quickly restored Lazio’s lead in the second half.
