June 19, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has advised Nigerians not to turn campaigns into tribal war, ahead of the 2023 election.
The actor took to Instagram to make this known. He added that Nigerians should be careful with their utterances, as the three main flagbearers from the ruling parties are from the three major ethnic groups in Nigeria.
He advised that Nigerians should be careful, so that their utterances and campaigns will not turn to “tribal war, because some kind talk don dey build up small small.”
He also stated that people “are free to support whomever they believe in.”
He also said there is no need turning campaigns into war, as it is not by force to support a particular candidate.
“Your choice must not be another person’s choice. Let’s be guided, election is not war.”
