May 14, (THEWILL) – Brighton and Hove Albion dealt a blow to Arsenal’s hopes for a race down the wire in the English Premier League final matches with a resounding 3-0 victory at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, placing Manchester City on the verge of clinching the title.
The match kicked off with an intense battle between the two teams, resulting in a brilliant save by Aaron Ramsdale after Julio Enciso threatened with a skilful shot. Substitute Deniz Undav pounced on a loose ball in the penalty area, delicately chipping it over Ramsdale to double Brighton’s lead. In the dying moments of the game, Estupinan sealed the comprehensive victory by tapping in a rebound from Ramsdale’s save. On Thursday, Brighton will face Newcastle while Arsenal will travel to Nottingham to take on Forest on Saturday.
